dr who

i have been talking to a few italian members on msn but most have never heared of the good doctor.
has any members seen or know of my hero ? (he was linked to transformes though comic with the clash with death heads, who he shrunk to human size before death heads own comic line came out ) ?.

I heard about Dr. Who talking with a friend who has left the forum some years ago. No, in Italy we have never seen it on TV, as far as I know!

It's on Sky (can't remember if it's on CanalJimmy, Fox or another thematic channel)

It was on canalJimmy, but just last 2 or 3 season.
I read somewhere that DW was a very long series, from 70's maybe, but here I've seen just the seasons with Rose.

oh this is a shame you did not see the orginal series (it first aired 23rd novemder 1963)
it is also the longest running sci fi tv series every in the world !!!.
the New series is pritty good and the special effects are out of this world, but the older series had longer storys.
the Doctor who clashs with Death Head in the comic was the 7th incarnation of the Docotor (Sylvester McCoy) it wasnt a long story , think only3 pages, but later Death Heads meets the docotor again in his own spin off comic (still need to read them ).
i can scan the story if anyone would like to read it (i could also try and translate it to italian too )?
do you get the Dr Who action figures arcoss italy ?, i have been collecting them for some time, my fave like is the classic dr who and would love to get the second wave (sadly only at Forbiddon Planet international at £24.99 a set for the twin packs , these sets have the very first 2 incarnations of the Doctor in them aaaarrrgghhhhhhh)
here is some photos of the figure line -
